Functional Capacity Assessments
A detailed assessment that examines an individual's capacity to perform essential and meaningful activities of daily living, including work-related tasks, accessing the community and interacting with others. The aim of this assessment is to help NDIS identify the needs of our client, help our therapists identify suitable intervention strategies and help the NDIS participant reach their NDIS goals.
Assistive Technology Prescription
Involves the recommendation and provision of specialised and disability-specific equipment to enhance the lifestyle of NDIS participants. These devices can include mobility aids, adaptive aids, communication devices, ergonomic equipment, and more. Our therapists will provide advice on the adaptive equipment that best suits the needs of the participant and their goals.
Home Modification Prescription
These are alterations made to your home that are specific to your needs. The aim of home modifications is to provide an environmental aid that will maximise the safety of the NDIS participant whilst enabling their independence. Our Occupational Therapists have extensive experience with simple and complex home modifications (i.e. full disability bathroom modifications, ramps, platform steps, custom railing). Tell us what you need and we will find a solution.
Rehabilitation & Therapy
Providing NDIS participants with the opportunities to increase and/or maintain their function through therapy. Therapeutic interventions include, cognitive therapy, hand therapy and sensory retraining. Our therapists can work with participants to learn how to dress themselves with increased independence, prepare meals with more confidence or access the community with with greater ease.
